Ossuary

Their dust lies forgotten, sealed within sarcophagus's of bone. Upon a planet floating in the light of a dying star. Once they soared across the heavens in search of greater knowledge. Now all that remains is this ossuary. A fading whisper of their once mighty race.

This piece was inspired by the movie Prometheus and Alien Covenant. I was actually introduced to H.R. Giger (as most are) through the Alien franchise. The monolithic head in Prometheus and bio mechanical concepts in Aliens has been a big influence on my art style. I love the intricate and sinister feel of the bone structures and combination of organic and mechanical.
