Here is the artwork for Symphonic Death project Synestia’s debut album “Maleficium” out December 2nd.

The cover art is inspired by the storyline of the Netflix adaptation of Castlevania. The husband finds his wife dead by unknown cause in a bleak garden. Rage clouds his face as he holds the body of his beloved close, this moment a catalyst for the story to come. The singles for “Burial Hymn” and “Death Magic” contain various motifs that allude to what happens before and after.

I had a great time working with Sam on this release and bringing this story to life. Sam put together an awesome team of individuals for this album with production by members of Shadow Of Intent and Fleshgod Apocalypse. Vocal features from Crown Magnetar, Distant, Oceano and Carcosa.
