The initial concept proposed to me by the band went something along the lines of "giant sewage monster." Lo and behold here is the final result of that. I came up with the idea of the figure being a gateway spewing sewage out of it's core. I wanted the being to be a fixture of the landscape, a vile growth contaminating the enviroment around it. DOOM Eternal was a great source of inspiration for this piece and I referenced a lot of the character and enviroment design while working.
