Album artwork for Dutch technical death metal band Spectrum of Delusion's upcoming album "Neoconception."

The concept behind this artwork was a continuation of the figure featured on their album "Esoteric Entity." The band wanted this cover to reveal what lay beneath the mask in a Giger-esque surroundings.

I took inspiration from the band name with the composition and created a slightly warped perspective. I wanted the surroundings to curve inwards and the figure to come outwards towards the viewer. Similar to the effect you see in a warp gate or when a ship goes through a wormhole. I used primarily grey warm tones to accentuate the strong liquid red tones.

Typography design and placements by myself and logo design by the very talented Echo Graphics.

Neoconception will be released September 11th by The Artisan Era.
