Traveler Looking Out Upon The Water

After many months I have finally finished a new personal artwork. This piece was inspired by the plein air and impressionist style. I wanted to be very loose and expressive with this piece. Was a nice break from the highly rendered and conceptual artwork I am usually commissioned to create. I hoped to portray a feeling of melancholy that I sometimes get traveling around the monotone Ohio winter landscape.
