Glad to finally be able to release this artwork done back in 2020 for Texas based hardcore band Iron Code. There is a lot of symbolism in this piece that ties back to themes in the album. For example the snake coming out of the stomach like an umbilical cord to inject golden poison in the figures arm. Represents how we create and feed ourselves our own poison and that poison is what will eventually kill us (the noose). I always like creating motifs that can be reinterpreted by the viewer. It’s like a filter in which the true meaning can have many meanings, or something like that haha.
