Soreption - Monument of the End

I am incredibly excited to finally release this to you guys. I have been a huge fan of Soreption ever since I got into tech death and death metal. Working with the band and Daniel McBride was a great experience and they helped push this cover to be the best it could be. The concept of the art was this massive sentient machine breaking free of the capsule/structure containing it. The band wanted something very post-apocalyptic. We bounced a few ideas around about some sort of being or monument representing the end of life as we know it. I came up with the idea of a bio-mechanical architect or overlord surrounded by Giger-esque machines. Love how the finished product turned out definitely one of my best pieces to date.
